Description

Moisture is a concern at every step of wood processing, the Delmhorst J-2000 Digital Wood Moisture Meter help minimize defects such as shrinkage, cracks, and splits. Used by a variety of professionals such as flooring contractors, woodworkers, furniture manufacturers, QC inspectors and small mills. Available in two ranges 6 to 40% (J-2000) or 6 to 60% (J-2000/X).
The Delmhorst J-2000 has integral contact pins mounted on top of meter that provide 5/16" penetration. The meter also has a built-in connector that accepts any Delmhorst moisture electrode. This economical tool comes with a built-in wood species correction and temperature correction, along with storage and informative reading statistics. It also averages up to 100 accumulated readings.
Readings are displayed on a bright and clear digital screen. The built-in calibration check ensures the device consistently delivers accurate readings. With durable construction, it offers years of dependable use. A sturdy plastic carrying case is also included for added protection. This tool is powered by a 9V battery included with the meter. It also comes backed by a 1-year warranty.
